Welcome to my Web site!
I live in EL Paso Texas and I am married
to Maria D. Alvarado and have two fantastic sons Luis Andres (24 years)
and Rafael (22 years). Luis is attending UTEP. He graduated with a BS in Psychology in January 2008
and presently he is pursuing a Masters Degree in Statistics at UTEP.
Rafael is going to UT Austin and he is in his senior year of school
studying two degrees; Economics and Math (nice combination like John Nash).
I have been going to
school most of my life trying to keep up with the latest technology:
-
Preparatoria El Chamizal, Juarez Mexico, 1976, Valedictorian.
-
BS Electrical Engineering, UTEP, 1980, High Honors
-
MS Electrical Engineering, UTEP,
1990, High Honors.
-
IBM
System Engineering Principles and Practices, 1984
-
Airplane Flight Dynamics and Control, University of Kansas, 1989
-
Conceptual Design of UAV Systems, University of Kansas, 2004
-
GPS Navigation and Simulation, NAVTECH Seminars, 1998.
-
Computer Information Systems, El Paso Community College, 2003-2004
-
Digital Flight Control Systems, University of Kansas, 2007
I am also a qualified and experience Senior Systems
Engineer with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science Degree in
Electrical Engineering, and over 25 years hands-on experience in the
development, integration, test, and evaluation of real-time control
systems. I am presently working for the ICE Corporation supporting the development contract for the Target Control System at White
Sands Missile Range, New Mexico. The following summarizes my work
experience:
-
Control System Algorithms for ground and aerial unmanned vehicles.
-
Math Modeling and 6-DOF Simulation Algorithms.
-
Development of way-point and flight pattern Guidance algorithms.
-
Path planning algorithms using Artificially Intelligent algorithms
(i.e. A*)
-
